Ashtown Clothing was created by Steven Asante from Ghana and his wife Jaqueline Asante from Belize. The name was inspired by Steven’s hometown Ashanti. Ashtown is the nickname all the locals would call his humble town of Africa. Steven’s inspiration for his t-shirts stems from his family. Steven’s children, his granddaughter and his wife, Jaqueline, all serve as the source of his ideas. Ashtown Clothing was birthed from Steven and Jaqueline living out the American dream for their family with the creation of a meaningful clothing line.

The purpose of Ashtown Clothing is intended to inspire the person wearing it to share their story. T-shirts are much more than words on fabric. It is Steven and Jaqueline’s belief that each person is meant to express their story through the power of art as simple as a t-shirt or coffee mug to be a reminder of the daily journey. Steven and Jaqueline’s story inspires anyone who is working hard to fulfill their dream in America.
